Why Software Should Not Have Owners

Richard Stallman is a programmer that has literally changed the world. He has created the GNU project, where programmers develop software that they share with the world. This software is licensed using the GNU General Public License which allows users to freely copy and distribute this software to anyone. Most of the software bundled with Linux distributions is GNU software.
