Dropping Knowledge
There is a website called Dropping Knowledge that is searching for 100 of the world's most thought provoking questions. On September 9th of this year a hundred scholars will meet in Berlin to try to answer these questions.
Anyone can submit a question that could be a candidate for the September 9th discussion.
I've actually had several questions that I felt were thought provoking. But when I went to their site to submit them, I've found that they only allow 250 characters (not 250 words) per question. It's pretty hard to clarify your questions using just 250 characters.
From reading the top 5 questions on their site, it seems like people are doing a good job keeping their questions within required limits. So I thought I'd give it a try. Here is the Dropping Knowledge question that I have just submitted:
Are current government structures (socialist, communist, or democratic republics and all forms of dictatorship) really obsolete for today's technologically advanced world? That's only 170 characters.
