I really don't like invisible economy at all.

Take insurance as another example. Lets say you own a second hand car and every year you insure it for £2000. A few years later you have an accident. When it comes time to pay out, the companies only give you the market value of the car... and not the value you personally put on it.

Now surely if they want to do that, they should be morally obligated to say each year at renewal... what the market price of the vehicle is. Even when you take that into consideration, there is still the fact that a footballer will pay over the odds to have his legs insured... because they are integral to his career. If you wish to pay over the odds because of the personal importance of the vehicle.. you should be fully entitled to do so without the ethically dubious notions of insurance companies being able to subtract from that value.

It's always dodgy ground when you pay or receive money for something that isn't physically quantifiable... and i try to avoid such things if i can.

Regards and blessings
