The High Lama Describes Our World

In 1937 the movie "Lost Horizon," based on the James Hilton novel of the same name, was first released. It starred Ronald Coleman and Jane Wyatt and was directed by Frank Capra. This film introduced the Utopian land of Shangri-La. The leader of Shangri-La was referred to as the High Lama (played by Sam Jafee in the movie).

What's very interesting is how the High Lama described the world of his day. This description was based on how the world was perceived in the thirties. Here is what he said:

Look at the world today. Is there anything more pitiful? What madness there is! What blindness! What unintelligent leadership! A scurrying mass of bewildered humanity, crashing headlong against each other, propelled by an orgy of greed and brutality.
Listen ...

Doesn't this describe the world of the twenty-first century? In fact, it could even describe the world as it existed during the time of Christ. Why is it that science and technology keep progressing, but man's psyche seems not to grow with time? Man's entire existence has always been based on greed and brutality and it looks like it isn't about to change soon.

The High Lama gave us one very good reason why mankind cannot rise to a higher spiritual level. He called it "unintelligent leadership." The corporate alien leaders of today are using technologically advanced mind control techniques to make sure that we will continue being "propelled by an orgy of greed and brutality."

Thanks so much for all this, o corporate aliens! Good to see you back on track!
The High Lama would no doubt be aghast - but he'd be very familiar with the corruption of professionals in all fields (including medicine, government, law etc).
