What a great article! Keep up the good work analyzing the "corporate alien" predators and prevaricators in our midst.
I've always liked the quote..."Freedom of Speech Doesn't Always Protect Speech that You like.."
I forget who said it.
Hello - I believe in free speech too but I also believe that a boss has every right to fire an employee who they feel violated the terms of their business contract. Bigots, racists and narrow-minded individuals really make my stomach turn.
There is a difference between not allowing another to speak...and holding them accountable to what they say. Freedom of speech goes both ways. It allows bigoted assholes to say whatever their tiny minds generate; and it allows the rest of us to call them on it.
What we have here is "A Failure To Communicate."
I agree wholeheartedly with your article. I have been saying for years that it seems that the "minorities" can say whatever they like but if the whites try to do the same they are treated with contempt and punished in whatever way society deems fit.
