Excellent post BUT sooner or later anti-Gorts will be constructed and after that anti-Gorts that destroy the creators of the Gorts and then Gorts that destroy those that create anti-Gorks. Excellent theory though, BUT Mankind has proven that for every action there is a reaction!

Totally nuts... after the Gorts eliminate war - gradually going down the scale to gang warfare, domestic violence, school bullying, hurt feelings, and mild cusswords, what are they going to do? Eliminate anything that's immoral (who decides?) fattening or potentially carcinogenic?
Using technology to promote peace is a truly frightening prospect!
