Its a sad state of affairs when you get more truth out of the Daily Show with Jon Stewart than network news.
What really angers me is that now advertisers are buying "news." There advertisements presented as news story. Its happened here in Texas several times. It should be illegal, but then, what isn't in today's society?
This is all why you stick to online news sources that provide the links to actual sources of information. While watching television, you can't click a button and find out where they're getting their information. Good post.
It is very true and sad case. It is not restricted to TV news though, i think all the mainstream media have the same problem.
